- Sculley says 2 new Macs challenge IBM. Downplays significance of
- MS-DOS cards. Analysts predict that the Mac Plus is dead in favor of
- SE.

- Mac II has power, but lacks multitasking. Gassee says Apple is
- working on multitasking, but declines to give any details. Developers
- are pressuring Apple for muiltitasking. John Zeisler, Apple business
- marketing manager says Mac II has attributes to support multitasking.

- sound chip, 68881 FPU. (So much for the halcyon days when everything
- ran on every Mac. Apple would be utterly stupid to not make the 256k
- ROMS available to Plus/512 owners).
